In the present work, the technological, economic, social and financial feasibility is evaluated for the installation of a production center for onigiris, which is ready and healthy Japanese meals, in the city of Metropolitan Lima. Achieving global objectives in terms of food security and nutritional status are part of the main global challenges. As in Peru, there is a high supply of products that are harmful to health. Japanese food, particularly onigiris, is an interesting alternative to solve this problem. In order to validate the idea, a market study was carried out, where the acceptance of the product was evaluated through primary sources. For this, a survey with 16 questions was conducted. In addition, it is important to identify the substitute and complementary goods, the geographical area to be evaluated, what methodology to study and what are the current costs to manufacture the products. To finalize the research, a localization study was carried out. Therefore, the departments were identified and the following important factors were evaluated, such as proximity to the market and proximity of raw materials. In the districts, the following important factors such as land price, accessibility and availability of raw material were evaluated. This is how we proceed to choose the optimal result for the location. To define the size of the plant, market limitations, productive resources, technology and the break-even point were identified, defining the size of the project. Starting from you, the engineering of the project, the organization and administration and finally the budgets and evaluation of the project were carried out. As a conclusion of the investigation, it is established that, if there is a demand for onigiris in Peru, taking the city of Lima as a location option, the technological feasibility is demonstrated by the existence of equipment to prepare this type of Japanese food. The resulting economic feasibility was calculated with a VAN of S/.4 557 004 and an TIR of 49%.
