The objective of this research is to identify the influence of the country brand, through internationalization, in the export culture of the exporting MSMEs of the textile sector of the Lima region. Therefore, this research exposes the literature found corresponding not only to the country brand and its application in different countries but also specifically to the Peru brand. Regarding the Peru brand, it’s clarified that the available information corresponds to its positioning, its application, regulations, and requirements. However, one of the limitations to carry out this research is that not enough information was found on the contributions, benefits, influences, or repercussions that they have had, either positive or negative, on companies, regardless of the sector, business stratum or region. It’s well known that, indeed, large companies have benefited from the Peru brand and are currently recognized not only in the national territory but also internationally. However, the need arises to investigate what are these contributions, benefits, influences or repercussions on micro, small and medium-sized companies. It’s important to mention that the research comprises a mixed methodology, that is, it follows quantitative and qualitative approaches, where it will make use of survey techniques and in-depth interviews with the samples of 249 exporting MSMEs from the textile sector of the Lima region and 10 experts and connoisseurs of topics related to country brand, internationalization, and export culture, respectively. Finally, it is concluded that there is a positive influence of the country brand, through internationalization, in the export culture of the exporting MIPYMEs of the textile sector of the Lima region.
