New York Stock Exchange, known in the financial world as NYSE, is the stock market with the largest monetary volume in the world, as well as the stock market with the largest number of listed companies. This market, with over 200 years of history, has become the most reliable and important stock market in the world after developing to a great extent in economic, technological, and social aspects. It has now transformed into an intriguing investment opportunity. The current research is based on determining the influence of market sentiment on the investment performance of investors in the New York Stock Exchange. A data collection methodology was employed to evaluate the relationship between variables with indicators such as the money invested in initial public offerings, the liquidity available at the end of each period and the number of transactions made. The impact of market sentiment on investment performance is revealed through the volatility that exists in the market, which generates a significant number of positive and negative transactions due to price variations that create unexpected and atypical movements. The results of these movements are directly influenced by market sentiment, which affects investment performance. Therefore, the role of the investor is to conduct accurate and structured analysis. Lastly, it was found that the liquidity available to investors, representing the funds allocated for stock market investments, is influenced by the turnover rate and serves as an indicator to measure market sentiment.
