The aim of the study was to determine the overload on primary caregivers of patients with permanent dependency in the outpatient setting, Lima - 2024. Regarding the methodology, it was used a quantitative approach, with a nonexperimental, descriptive and cross-sectional design, with a sample of 90 caregivers, using a survey as a data collection technique through the Zarit Scale instrument. As for the results, it is found that 57.8% of caregivers experience mild overload, 27.8% experience intense overload, and 14.4% report an absence of overload. Likewise, when analyzing the dimensions, it was identified that 53.3% of caregivers presented a mild level of overload regarding the caregiver's impact; 54.4% of caregivers presented a mild level of overload regarding the quality of interpersonal relationships; 60% of caregivers presented mild overload regarding self-efficacy expectations. It was concluded that caregivers' overload is mild, which is the category with the greatest impact on permanent caregivers of patients with dependency.
