Objective: To determine the relationship between physical activity and sleep disorders in children at the Pacifico Educational Institution, Callao, 2024. Material and Methods: A study was carried out with a quantitative approach, hypothetical-deductive method, applied type, non-experimental cross-sectional design and descriptive-correlational scope. The sample consisted of 81children aged 9-12 years of both sexes who regularly attended the Pacifico Educational Institution. The Questionnaire for the Assessment of Physical Activity Levels in Children (APALQ) and the Tucson Children’s Assessment of Sleep Apnea Questionnaire (TuCASA) were used as data collection instruments to measure physical activity and sleep disorders, respectively. Results: A negative and high relationship was found between physical activity and sleep disorders (p=0,000, rho=-0,752). The mean with standard deviation of the questionnaire of physical activity levels was 13.27±4.05 points, where 45.7% presented a moderately active level of physical activity, 32.1% presented a sedentary lifestyle and 22.2% a very active level. The mean with standard deviation of the questionnaire of the level sleep disorders was 22.80±7.41 points, where 45.7% presented a level of mild sleep disorder, 37% a normal level and 17.3% a moderate level. Conclusion: It’s concluded that there is a relationship between physical activity and sleep disorders in children at the Pacifico Educational Institution, Callao, 2024.
