Objective: Determine the level of functional capacity in older adult patients from a physical therapy center in Lima, period 2024. Materials and Methods: The study was deductive with a non-experimental design, the population will be made up of all older adult patients from GrupoFisio – comprehensive health and rehabilitation which was made up of 145 patients aged 60 years or older. Results: A prevalence of the 70 to 79 year old group is evident, with 44.14% of the total sample, a slight majority being male, with 53.79%, 22.76% of patients suffer from high blood pressure. 21.38% of patients suffer from diabetes mellitus. 19.31% of patients suffer from chronic lung disease. 18.62% of patients suffer from coronary heart disease. 17.93% of patients suffer from rheumatoid arthritis, 25.52% of patients are at normal weight levels. 22.07% have grade I obesity. 17.93% are overweight, 17.93% have grade II obesity. 16.55% of patients are at a low weight level, 28.97% of patients show mild or little dependence. 23.45% of patients show moderate dependence, 20% show a severe level of dependence, 15.17% have total dependence and 12.41% of patients are independent. Conclusions: In the sample, the majority of patients work independently and are also unemployed, the majority of patients suffer from high blood pressure, the vast majority of older adult patients are overweight, the majority of Patients show moderate to severe dependence.
