diagnostica Aplasia cutis congénita asociada a Epidermólisis bullosa.
Introduction: We present the case of a newborn with conservative management of aplasia cutis congenita associated with epidermolysis bullosa, who, during his hospitalization developed infectious and hemorrhagic complications. To date, no case reports have been found that show unfavorable evolution. Case Presentation: Newborn of 5 hours of life, referred from a nearby health center, who presented with extensive lesions present at birth with loss and absence of skin in both lower limbs, which later was associated with blisters on the oral mucosa and skin, specifically in areas of friction and contact; therefore, the diagnosis of aplasia cutis congenita associated with epidermolysis bullosa was given. During its conservative management, it presented infectious and hemorrhagic complications that are resolved with broad-spectrum antibiotic therapy and daily cures; however, lesions did not improve, so topical treatment with satisfactory evolution is rethought. Conclusion: Conservative management is the choice in congenital aplasia; is important to detect and treat in time infectious and hemorrhagic complications that can occur, to ensure good progression in the epithelialization of the lesions
