The general objective of the road analysis of Jiron Ayacucho, at its intersections with Calle Bolivar, Calle Palma and Jiron Plaza de Armas in the district of Guadalupe, province of Pacasmayo, La Libertad region, is to evaluate the traffic flow and efficiency of these intersections. For this purpose, manual vehicle counts will be carried out at different times of the day, identifying the traffic light cycles and the serviceability index. The findings highlight that traffic volume increases during the work week, with Saturday registering the highest volume: 23,689 vehicles at the intersection with Bolivar Street, 22,103 vehicles at the intersection with Palma Street and 24,911 vehicles at the intersection with Jiron Plaza de Armas. Between 17:00 and 18:00 hours, there was a notable increase in vehicle traffic, indicating a period of intense activity. In addition, a 75% delay was identified on the west to east route and 84% delay on the southeast to northwest route. The traffic lights on Jiron Ayacucho show an equal distribution of time intervals, with cycles of 89 and 90 seconds on Calle Bolivar and 88 and 89 seconds on Jiron Plaza de Armas, both with effective green light times and a 3-second amber light transition phase. The level of service for all three intersections is classified as F, indicating that traffic volume has exceeded roadway capacity.
