To know the factors associated with rebleeding in patients with aneurysmal subarachnoid haemorrhage in the Hospital de Belén de Trujillo during the period 2007-2016. MATERIAL AND METHODS: An observational, retrospective, analytical and cross-sectional study was performed during the period 2007-2016 at the Hospital Belén de Trujillo. The study population consisted of 83 patients. All factors were examined by a bivariate analysis to assess the association and a multivariate analysis was used to identify factors related to predictions and thus create a prediction model for the rebleeding. RESULTS: The female gender, systolic blood pressure (SBP) on admission (≥160 mmHg), history of hypertension, Glasgow coma scale at admission (3-13) points, Hunt Hess III-V degree, multiple aneurysms, glucose level (>110 mg/dl), Intracerebral or intraventricular hematoma and aneurysm size (>5mm), white blood cell count (>12 000/mm3), platelet count on admission (>450 000/mm3); They are factors associated with the rebleeding; All subjects included in a multivariate analysis where only 6 factors were selected, revealing their effect on the prediction of rebleeding. CONCLUSIONS: The female gender, systolic blood pressure (SBP) on admission (>160 mmHg), history of hypertension, Glasgow on admission scale (3-13), Hunt Hess degree (III-V), multiple aneurysms, glucose level (>110 mg/dl), white blood cell count (>12 000/mm3), platelet count at admission (>450 000/mm3), intracerebral or intraventricular hematoma, and aneurysm size (>5 mm) are factors associated with hemorrhage bleeding Subarachnoid aneurysm.
