This study was conducted in order to demonstrate whether the use of the horn Biomodel teaching strategy improves academic performance of students in the first cycle of Organic Chemistry of the professional academic school UPAO Human Medicine, Trujillo district during the academic year 2014-I. The research was to study population of 365 students and a sample of 61, divided into the experimental group (30) and control (31), respectively; which have same specialty and similar features. The research is technological and quasi -experimental design with nonequivalent groups pretest and posttest. The use of Biomodel as a teaching strategy in 10 sessions of teaching and learning. Since its implementation, the surveyed students achieved significant enough level and in some cases, the optimal level. After applying the use of Biomodel as a teaching strategy was found that the Academic Performance of Organic Chemistry significantly improved, as well , confirm the ““t““ test ; (T e > T; 10.48 > 1.67 ) was above 58,06 % , baseline and then 61,29 % optimal level ; while its average level reached before the vigesimal 11.27 , then 15 , 32, with a difference of 3.05 , also in their knowledge , procedures and attitudes dimensions, reached the optimum level.
