Determine if elevation of troponine t has value to pronostic factor of intrahospitalary mortality acute coronary sindrome at Trujillo Belen Hospital. Methods: Was conduced a analitic, observational, retrospective, cohorts investigation. The study population was conformed for 90 patients with acute coronary sindrome inclusion and exclusion criteries distributed in 2 groups:death and survivors. Results: The frequency of mortality between elevated and no elevated were 38% y 18% respectively. Elevation of troponine t relative risk related to mortality was 2.13(p<0.05). The averages of troponine t in the group of deaths and survivors were 186.4 and 146.8 respectively (p<0.01). Conclusions: Elevation of troponine t is a pronostic factor to intrahospitalary mortality in patients with acute coronary sindrome. The average of troponine t in death patients is significatively majorthan survivor patients. Kewwords:Troponine t, acute coronary sindrome, mortality.
