The purpose of this thesis is to evaluate the deflection of the Panamericana Norte section of the Ovalo Huanchaco - EL Milagro km 578 to Km 583 highway using the Benkelman Beam, in order to verify if the road or pavement is well made and that optimal conditions for Access to local and regional markets. The project contains the characteristics of the Benkelman beam which are as follows: A supporting body that is placed directly on the ground by means of three supports (two fixed front “A“ and one fixed rear “B“) A movable arm coupled to the fixed body by a “C“ pivot or pivot joint, one of which supports on the ground (point “D“) and the other is in sensitive contact with the stem of a vertical movement extensometer ( Point “E“) In addition the project contains how to use and use the Benkelman Beam in flexible pavements. It is a non-destructive method that does not damage the pavement at the time of testing, but at the same time is very little used in our region. We will also test the use of the Benkelman beam on the road above and you know if you need to perform a road maintenance or a complete rehabilitation.
