In order to determine the relationship between the intergenetic period and uterine rupture in pregnant women with a previous cesarean section at the Trujillo Regional Teaching Hospital. 2010 - 2019. A descriptive relationship study was carried out with a sample of 201 patients, to whom a data collection form was applied to determine the cases of uterine rupture. The percentage of previous cesarean pregnant women with uterine rupture was 1.1%. As a result, 19.4% of the pregnant women with previous cesarean section had a short intergenetic period, 27.86% had a normal intergenetic period and 52.74% a long intergenetic period, of the group of pregnant women with uterine rupture, 24.4% had a short PIG, the 35.6% normal PIG and 40% long PIG. It is concluded that the intergenetic period does not have a significant relationship (p> 0.05) with uterine rupture in pregnant women with previous cesarean section, of the Regional Teaching Hospital of Trujillo 2010-2019.
