In the metropolitan city of Lima, there is an increase in the construction of multifamily housing using the pre-slab system, as it presents an alternative to save costs, improve productivity, and reduce execution times. However, the pre-slab system presents some deficiencies in the flow of RFI responses and many incompatibilities. In this context, the possibility of implementing the Virtual Design Construction (VDC) methodology is proposed. This methodology is composed of three main tools: Integrated Concurrent Engineering (ICE), Building Information Modeling (BIM), and Project Production Management (PPM). These tools are used to improve project support and ensure better information flow among all areas involved in the project. For the present research, the implementation and development of a manual covering the first two tools, ICE and BIM, integrated into the pre-slab system, are proposed. In conclusion, it is shown that the integration of the VDC methodology in the pre-slab construction system is favorable, reducing incompatibilities by 69% and RFI response times by more than 40%. Additionally, the implementation manual developed shows an acceptance rate of over 80% by experts.
