This research primarily aims to identify the impact of digitalization on the supply chain processes of logistics companies in the Constitutional Province of Callao during the years 2019 to 2023. The research follows a qualitative approach, with 15 interviews conducted with experts in logistics and digital technology. On one hand, it was found that digitalization has had a significant positive impact on the operational efficiency and competitiveness of logistics companies in Callao. However, challenges persist that have limited its full implementation. These challenges include resistance to change within organizational culture and concerns regarding data security and privacy, which have hindered the complete integration of digital technologies in some companies. On the other hand, it was confirmed that digitalization has influenced environmental sustainability by facilitating route optimization and reducing CO2 emissions. Nevertheless, the lack of adequate state support has limited the magnitude of these benefits. Additionally, while digitalization has significantly improved the evaluation and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs), there are still areas where more robust development is needed to accurately quantify the benefits obtained. Finally, data integration through digitalization has improved coordination among supply chain actors, although full integration has not yet been achieved, which remains a significant challenge for the overall efficiency of logistics processes.
