The research focuses on improving the logistics efficiency of the textile company (hereinafter MACA), located in Lima, Peru, whose main problem is inventory management, due to the manual control of it. This situation generates discrepancies in stock control, capital immobilization and loss of sales opportunities. The goal is to optimize inventory control to improve the company's performance and increase customer satisfaction. The revised theoretical framework highlights the importance of digitalization in the supply chain through technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT), ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems, and logistics outsourcing, which help reduce errors and improve operational efficiency. Three alternatives were evaluated: (1) the implementation of IoT for real-time monitoring of inventories, (2) the adoption of an ERP with full inventory integration, and (3) the outsourcing of logistics management. After a comparative analysis, the implementation of an ERP system was chosen, as it centralizes information, automates processes and offers real-time visibility of stock, which facilitates decision-making and reduces costs in the long term. Although the initial investment is significant, its high viability and ability to improve inventory management justify its choice. This paper provides a detailed focus on digital transformation in small and medium-sized textile companies as a means to achieve efficiency in inventory management.
