This article presents the problems in the traceability of products in the import process of the Peruvian company Crepier, dedicated to the commercialization of fashion accessories for travel. The main objective is to increase the efficiency and precision of the tracking and control of the supply chain in the import process to Peru. For the development of this document, a qualitative research was carried out through the investigation of scientific articles, magazines, news and an interview with the employees of the different areas of Crepier. With the information collected, several analyses were drawn up, which provided us with findings about the problems in the primary areas of the organization. It was determined that these critical areas present coordination challenges due to the use of tools such as Excel and corporate mail communication, which are inefficient as operations grow. To solve the problem, three alternative solutions were proposed. After a comparative feasibility analysis, SRM was chosen as the best solution due to its ability to improve supplier relations and optimize process traceability. Finally, it is concluded that the implementation of SRM provides operational, administrative and financial advantages by establishing standardized processes and improving inventory planning, which should reduce mistakes and optimize the flow of the supply chain.
