The purpose of this research is to provide a methodology for developing an effective value proposition and implementing a sustainable business model. An existing problem in the business sector is the lack of equitable distribution among the three pillars of sustainability: economic, environmental, and social. There is an increasing need for emerging companies with sustainable foundations that prioritize not only the profit axis but also align equitably with the environmental and social axes as appropriate to their business sector. To achieve this, it is important to apply new methodologies to traditional value propositions, so they can be genuinely useful in the development of new sustainable business models across various industries. This research will develop a new methodology based on Design Thinking, Sustainable Business Model Canvas and Value Proposition Canvas. In this way, it aims to promote the sustainable impact of new entrants in the market through a case study on the creation of a business focused on selling second-hand clothing and accessories. The validation and implementation process ensures that the case effectively aligns with the preferences and requirements of potential users from the target audience, resulting in the optimal functioning of a business founded on a consistent value proposition, which was developed through an innovative methodology that integrates the three essential sustainability pillars necessary for the success of circular business models.
