This study evaluates knowledge management (KM) in a construction company in Lima, Peru, analyzing employee perceptions, perceived benefits, limitations, and future vision. Through surveys, strengths such as positive perceptions of KM and process optimization were identified, along with opportunities in adopting advanced technologies. However, weaknesses were found in employee motivation and dispersed information systems, as well as threats from high staff turnover and market competition. To address these challenges, specific strategies were proposed, such as integrating advanced technologies, centralizing information, and conducting pilot projects to demonstrate KM benefits. Recommendations include adopting advanced technologies, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, developing retention and motivation programs for staff, and implementing awareness campaigns to change attitudes towards KM. The study concludes that KM is perceived as essential for business success and that implementing effective strategies can significantly improve the efficiency and competitiveness of construction companies in Lima, serving as a model for other companies in the sector.
