This study focuses on examining the relationship between entrepreneurial competencies and the competitiveness of micro and small enterprises (Mypes) in the textile sector of Gamarra in the year 2022. A correlational methodology with a non-experimental cross-sectional design was employed to analyze the connection between these variables. A quantitative research approach was adopted, involving surveys conducted with 116 entrepreneurs located in the Gamarra commercial center. These surveys, comprising 15 questions, assessed indicators across different dimensions using the Likert scale. The collected data were processed using the SPSS platform, resulting in the presentation of multiple tables displaying the final results. Statistical data were evaluated and interpreted using coefficients such as Cronbach's Alpha and Spearman, confirming the stated general and specific hypotheses. The findings revealed that organizational capacity, identification of opportunities, and conceptual competence have a positive and significant impact on the success of businesses. This success is reflected in the rarity and difficulty of substitutability, with the latter being particularly valued as it allows companies to solidify their position in the market. The insights from this research are crucial for both current and prospective entrepreneurs, as well as for government entities, providing relevant information to develop and strengthen competencies that can contribute to long-term growth and sustainability.
