The Professional Sufficiency Work is focused on identifying the "Limitations in the introduction of cellular signal amplifiers in the home sector" and exploring alternative solutions, especially through accessible and effective technologies such as Wifi Mesh systems. The research analyzes various substitute technologies for cellular signal boosters, taking into account the lack of awareness and economic limitations of the majority of users in critical districts. This work is divided into three (3) basic and fundamental chapters. The first addresses the scenario of the cellular signal problem in homes and the analysis of the home sector where the need for more accessible solutions is evident. The second chapter develops the theory and identifies viable technological alternatives to address the problematic situation, including Femtocells, Wifi Mesh systems and Starlink antennas. Likewise, the last chapter argues the chosen proposal, revealing the advantages and disadvantages of each option, and presents a qualitative and quantitative analysis that supports the choice of Wifi Mesh systems as the most appropriate alternative solution. For this research, we worked with information obtained from specialized academic sources and methodologies that allowed a rigorous and well-founded analysis of the alternatives, thus guaranteeing the reliability and validity of the results obtained.
