In this work of professional sufficiency, describes the design and development of a complete hand prosthesis for people who present a trans-radial amputation or disarticulated wrist amputation. The project presented, senses the electromyographic signals presented by the patient with the amputation by means of surface electrodes. Immediately afterwards, it goes through an amplification and filtering stage in order to obtain a better range of values and eliminate the noise present. After that, it goes through a processing stage thanks to a development module based on the ESP32 and this activates the geared motors that drive the phalanges of the prosthesis. Likewise, we present a mechanical design in aluminium based on the use of a worm screw for the movement of the fingers. All this is coupled to a PLA+ prosthesis that integrates the different electronic components. The final result is a lightweight product that helps patients with trans-radial amputation to perform a large number of everyday movements and thus improve their quality of life.
