The problem for this work is to maintain service time in the logistics area due to the increase in operations in a contracting company in the mining sector. The general objective is to determine which theory or methodology would best influence the resolution of the company's problem. For this purpose, a research with a qualitative approach is developed. After the study of three different methodologies such as the value chain theory, the Kaizen method, and the Balanced Scorecard methodology, it is confirmed that the theory of continuous improvement provides solutions to the main problems raised that occur within the organization, such as lack of communication, personnel management and poor technology, thus creating a solution to the identified problem. It is concluded that implementing the Kaizen method in the mining contracting company has a significant impact because it gives the company greater flexibility in the provision of logistics services, the company will have more employees prepared to start new work fronts, and communication will be clearer and reliable, it will have trained personnel and modern and practical technology, all of which will reduce times by 15% compared to the current one.
