Post-traumatic stress occurs when a person experiences a shocking, frightening or dangerous situation. Three core aspects have been identified in the clinical picture of PTSD: re-experiencing the traumatic event, behavioral avoidance, and the state of hyperarousal. Health personnel who are exposed to highly critical situations have experienced different disorders, one of them being PTSD. To address this problem, psychological support techniques are used, highlighting cognitive behavioral interventions. Therefore, the objective of this research is to carry out a systematic review of intervention programs under the cognitive behavioral approach that have addressed the reduction of post-traumatic stress in health personnel in relation to the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISM). The selection of the studies was carried out considering the articles with quantitative and qualitative methodology published between 2019 and 2023, in English and/or Spanish. A total of two articles were obtained for the systematic review. The most relevant results were that the intervention programs are feasible, safe and acceptable and that they have a positive effect on stress levels and general well-being, therefore, there were improvements in the participants' PTSD symptoms.
