Today, the pace of modern life has caused multiple changes in human behavior, triggering negative changes in sleep. Sleep disorder is a pathology that alters normal sleep patterns. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), 40% of people worldwide suffer from sleep disorders, which increases the probability that they suffer from cardiovascular problems, diabetes, obesity, and cognitive disorders. Sleep disorder is an emergency and public health problem that many people ignore. The present project to be developed is conducted with the aim of proposing a mobile application called "Deep Sleep" that could help university students improve their sleep quality. The main value of this application lies in the user’s monitoring with a psychologist, who will be able to check the sleep quality of university students and interact directly with them. In addition, it differs from other applications because it provides personalized recommendations based on the user's habits and calculates the quality of sleep through the PSQI (Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index) questionnaire. The proposal was validated by 2 psychologists and 30 university students through 2 business processes: "Sleep quality management" and "Medical management of sleep monitoring". The results after using the application indicate an improvement in the sleep quality of university students by reducing by 20% the number of users who initially had poor quality sleep. In addition, an average waiting time for setting up an appointment with a psychologist of 4 hours and 22 minutes was recorded, which was shorter compared to the waiting time for a traditional medical appointment. Finally, 79.63% satisfaction was obtained from end-users when using the application.
