In this research work, the author has selected project management processes from the PMBOK® guide (Sixth Edition), they will be applied to the Technical File preparation phase of Educational Infrastructure projects in the Regional Government of Ucayali (GOREU). The purpose is to improve the quality of these projects to they meet the regulatory requirements and be admitted, reviewed, approved and financed by the Ministry of Education (MINEDU), through the National Educational Infrastructure Program (PRONIED) and in this way optimize and improve regional public investment, closing gaps in educational infrastructure and minimizing future problems that may arise in the execution phase of the work. These selected project management processes are based on the PMBOK® 6th edition PMI (2017), Project Management Fundamentals Guide, taking into account the knowledge areas of Project Integration Management, Project Scope, Project Schedule, Project Quality and Project Risk. For the application of the selected project management processes, the Technical Building Standards of the National Building Regulations (RNE), the Regulatory Framework of the State Contracting Law and the regulatory requirements for the preparation of Technical Files for PRONIED school buildings, since this last one is the entity that admits, reviews, approves and finances the aforementioned projects. In addition, a proposal is developed to improve the process of elaboration, admissibility, review and approval of the Technical File.
