Translation Project is a collaborative work tool used in Specialized Translation courses that allows the student to develop skills and competences related to translation training such as translation competence and self-efficacy. Furthermore, this type of project presents student-related benefits and challenges that can influence its progress. Despite being a widely used tool in translation training, not much research has been conducted focusing on the students' point of view and in relation to this tool, especially in the Peruvian context. For such reason, this research will analyze the perceptions of students in the Professional Translation and Interpreting program at Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas regarding the translation project. In order to develop this research and understand the students' perceptions, 9 students of the Specialized Translation 2 course, which contains two translation projects related to industrial and mining topics during the semester, will be interviewed. Finally, a subsequent analysis of the interviews will be conducted for data development.
