This research work seeks to develop a framework for cost and schedule control in small and medium-sized construction projects. For the development of the proposed framework, different methods, techniques, tools and good practices for project management are applied and integrated. The proposed framework defines four processes: Define Current Project Situation, Analyze Causes, Plan Improvements, and Monitor. The appropriate and timely implementation of this framework in small and medium-sized construction projects; It has the ability to generate significant tangible benefits in SME construction companies that apply it. This is given that, for the most part, these companies do not have appropriate and / or properly defined project management systems; generating a qualitative leap when applying this framework. The benefits could include: economic by finding the planned profitability of the construction projects thanks to the cost control of the projects, respecting the planned deadlines thanks to the project term control and improvement of the management processes.
