Introduction: There are few studies related to liver transplantation in Peru and there is no updated information. It is extremely important to have updated data, since in recent years the demand for liver transplantation due to different etiologies as a final treatment has been increasing. Objectives: Mostly, describe the influence of prognostic factors on the survival of adult patients after liver transplantation in Peru. In addition, it has been proposed to know the frequency of the etiology of the diagnosed liver disease that leads to the indication of liver transplantation, and to determine the frequency of recurrence events and intra and postoperative complications of these adult post-transplant patients. Materials and Methods: A descriptive observational study of retrospective case series design is proposed, information will be taken from medical records of patients transplanted at the “Hospital Edgardo Rebagliati Martins - Lima”, “Hospital Nacional Guillermo Almenara Irigoyen - Lima” and “Hospital Nacional Ramiro Prialé Prialé - Huancayo”. Conclusions: The study seeks to describe how the prognosis or survival of this kind of patients can be influenced by factors such as the age and sex of the recipient, the age of the donor, the etiology that predisposed to liver failure, the MELD scale score for each recipient, and the need for grafting during surgery. Unfortunately, studies with similar objectives are of foreign origin, and the majority of national articles are more than 5 years old, and do not focus on determining the survival of these patients.
