The Word Health Organization (WHO) declares COVID-19 as a pandemic, triggering a global crisis in economic, health, and social spheres. Background: Knowledge and attitudes toward vaccination against the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) are crucial for achieving widespread immunization in the majority of the population. Objective: To determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and attitudes about COVID-19 vaccination among adolescents in a secondary educational institution in Apurímac, Peru, in 2023. Methods and Materials: Non-experimental, quantitative, cross-sectional, and correlational study. The sample consisted of 118 adolescents from the Señor de los Milagros school in Apurímac. The variables were the level of knowledge about COVID-19 vaccination and the level of attitudes toward said vaccination. Frequency distribution and the Chi-squared test were used. Results: 55.1% were male, 28.8% were 14 years old, 28.8% were in the second year of secondary school, 75.4% were Catholic, 91.5% had been vaccinated against COVID-19, and only 11.0% reported having been infected by the COVID-19 virus. Additionally, 78.0% demonstrated a medium level of knowledge, and 69.5% showed an attitude of indecision. To determine the association between the level of knowledge and attitudes toward COVID-19 vaccination, the Chi-squared test indicated a value of 1.171 with a p-value of 0.883. Conclusion: There is no significant relationship between the level of knowledge and attitudes about COVID-19 vaccination.
