It is the final stage of any surgery procedure having a good/well healing of tissues. Tissue adhesives based on cyanoacrylate have the property of curing upon contact with biological fluids, which get to enforce the attraction among faced tissues. In addition to being biocompatible and biodegradable. The objective was to determinate the effectiveness in the healing of surgical wounds post removal of mandibular third molar of the Tissue adhesive based on cyanoacrylate compared to conventional suture 3.0 The study was carried out on 26 teenagers’ patients who needed impacted mandibular third molar removal. They were distributed into two groups: control group (suture) and experimental group (tissues adhesive). The clinical evaluations were effected after surgery: 30 minutes, 24 hours, 72 hours, and 7 days. The variables evaluated were: inflammation, pain, hemostatic effect (bleeding), and confrontation of the wound. The tissues adhesive showed to be effective to stop bleeding and to maintain a closed wound. Finally the adhesive was the similar effectiveness as the conventional suture for the treatment of surge wounds post exodoncia. Key words: Tissue adhesive, cyanoacrylate, wound healing.
