--- Objective: To determine the association between risk factors: cervical –vaginal infection, urinary tract infection, antecedent of cesarean section, gestational anemia, antecedent of preterm labor; with premature preterm rupture of membranes in pregnancies of between 22 and 36 weeks gestational age attended in Instituto Nacional Materno Perinatal during the period January- December 2015. Methodology: Study of type cases and control, transverse, retrospective, based in the review of 140 clinic history of pregnant who had a diagnostic of premature rupture of membranes in preterm pregnancy and 140 who did not have this diagnostic between the 22 and 36 weeks gestation during the period January-December 2015. For to realize this study were reviewed clinic history of pregnant women with complete data, the information was processed and bivariate analysis was performed and multivariate based on the calculation of the Odds Ratio and confidence intervals to the 95%. Results: Of 140 cases (pregnant with RPM) and 140 controls (pregnant without RPM), it was found that the cervical-vaginal infection, p = 0.286 with an ORc = 0.68 and 95% IC (0.334-1.38) and with p= 0.202 with an ORa = 0.618 and an IC 95% ( 0.295-1.294), urinary tract infection p = 0.137 with an ORC = 0.637 and 95% IC (0352-1153) and with p= 0.073 with an ORa = 0.564 and an IC 95% ( 0.301-1.055) , history of preterm labor p = 0.544 with an ORc= 0.781 and 95% IC (0351-1735) and with p= 0.926 with un ORa = 1.041 and un IC 95% ( 0.440-2.465) , these not have statistical significance in bivariate analysis and multivariate respectively. The gestational anemia p = 0.002 with an ORC: 2,153 and 95% IC (1.315-3.524) and an p = 0.001 ORa = 2.386 and 95% IC (1433-3973) was statistical significance, equal maner the antecedent of cesarean section p = 0.048 with an ORC: 0.562 and 95% IC (0.318- 0.994) and p = 0.030 and a ORa = 0.513 and 95% IC (0280-0938), both in bivariate analysis and multivariate respectively. Conclusions: No association was found any statistical significance between the cervico-vaginal infection, urinary tract infection, and history of preterm birth with RPM in preterm pregnancy. If was found statistical significance and association with gestational anemia constituted as a risk factor for this obstetric complication. The antecedent of cesarean was considered protective factor for preterm pregnancies RPM. Keywords: Premature rupture of membranes in preterm pregnancy, cervical-vaginal infection, urinary tract infection, antecedent cesarean section, gestational anemia, antecedent of preterm labor.
