The present investigation whose title is "Relationship between the level of anxiety and physiological responses in children from 3 to 9 years old in their first visit to the Dental Clinic Con Corazon. Cusco - 2022, had as its main objective to determine the relationship between the level of anxiety and the physiological responses of children on their first visit to the Con Corazon Dental Clinic. Materials and methods: We had a population made up of 100 children who attended the dental clinic between the months of February and July 2022, reaching a sample of 70 children, where we proceeded with the delivery of an informed consent form to the parent, filling out the data collection form with the Modified Venham Test and taking vital signs, blood pressure, temperature, respiratory rate, heart rate; all this was done prior to treatment and after the dental care performed through an observation criterion. Results, we were able to observe that the level of significance in the relationship between anxiety and physiological responses showed a positive association. But it is worth mentioning that the level of association that exists between the level of anxiety and simple dental treatment has a positive association as well as with sex and age group. Conclusion: The relationship between the variables, level of anxiety and physiological responses is positive, in addition 41 patients with a percentage of 57.7% did not present anxiety at the beginning of the treatment and only 29 patients with a percentage of 40.8% presented mild anxiety. In addition, 41 patients with a percentage of 57.7% did not present anxiety at the end of the treatment, only 13 patients with a percentage of 18.3% presented mild anxiety and 16 with a frequency of 22.5% presented moderate anxiety.
