The research titled "Factors associated with urinary tract infection in pregnant women treated at the Antonio Lorena Cusco 2023 Hospital", with the objective of identifying the factors associated with urinary tract infection in pregnant women treated at the Antonio Lorena Cusco 2023 Hospital. , Methodology: quantitative, non-experimental, correlational, cross-sectional study, with a case-control sample of 77 patients with a positive diagnosis of Urinary Tract Infections and 77 patients with negative diagnoses, both sociodemographic and Obstetric Gynecological factors were taken into account. Results: we have that, of the positive cases of a urinary tract infection within the sociodemographic factors, with a value of p < 0.05 demonstrated that they are associated with UTI in pregnant women who were marital status, cohabiting pregnant patients, representing 33.8% and a value of (p=0.027), the occupation of pregnant patients who have the role of housewife with 29.2% and a value of (p= 0.016); While the gynecological-obstetric factors are more considerable, the history of UTI is more considerable with a value of (p= 0.001), observing that the greatest number of positive cases is found in patients who suffered a UTI for the second time, representing 25.3%. The weight is related to the cases of UTI in pregnant women who have a normal weight are 25.3% and a value of (P=0.008). In conclusion: we have that the factors that are most associated with suffering from a Urinary Tract Infection in pregnant women are the marital status of the pregnant women who live together, the occupation of pregnant women who are housewives, the history of UTI and the weight of the pregnant women. treated at the Antonio Lorena Hospital in Cusco.
