The objective of this research was to determine the relationship between family functioning and self-concept among high school students at Humberto Luna Educational Institution, located in the province of Cusco, during the year 2021. The methodology employed was quantitative in approach, correlational in scope, and cross-sectional in design. The sample included 286 students who were administered the FACES III and the self-concept scale (AF-5). The results revealed that 55.2% of the students came from middle-range families and 58.7% had a medium self-concept. Regarding sociodemographic factors and self-concept, a significant relationship was observed with age (p=0.020), level of education (p=0.000), and religion (p=0.000). Furthermore, it was demonstrated that there is a significant relationship between family functioning with family self-concept (p=0.041) and physical self-concept (p=0.036). It was concluded that there is a significant relationship between family functioning and self-concept among high school students at the Humberto Luna Educational Institution (p=0.001).
