The research describes and analyzes the experience of supporting the competitiveness and sustainability of the Network of Artists and Artisan Producers of Cusco (Rapc), specifically of the productive chain of Textile Crafts in the province of Cusco; through the implementation of the Procompite program, which is an initiative aimed at providing support to groups or families in areas where private investment is insufficient. Through the transfer of technological packages, the program aims to improve the productivity, competitiveness and sustainability of the production units, in different links of the production chain; The main actors that are recognized and intervene in the implementation phases of the program are: The Organized Economic Agents (AEO) and the Implementing Governments (IG). From the application of a survey to all the beneficiaries of the Rapc, a descriptive and correlational analysis was carried out with an econometric demonstration, which measures the contribution of the Procompite program to the income of the beneficiaries. From the research carried out, it has been determined that the implementation of the Procompite program contributes to improving the competitiveness and sustainability of the AEO, through the insertion of technology in production and the improvement of human capital; that derives in improving the levels of efficiency, productivity, responsibility with the Environment and income of the artisans. Likewise, the intervention of the Procompite program favors the sustainability of the productive chains of the sector, since, by improving production conditions, it encourages artisans to continue participating in productive and economic activity.
