Introduction: Psoriasis is a chronic, systemic, multifactorial pathology, characterized by its dermal involvement. The clinical manifestations it’s varies from macules, papules, plaques, pustules to more complex presentations (von Zumbush type psoriasis) that affect the quality of life of patients. Therefore, it’s important to obtain a low-cost laboratory test for its comprehensive evaluation and prevention of complications. Objective: Determine the correlation between the Neutrophil/Lymphocyte Index and the PASI in patients with psoriasis at the Antonio Lorena Hospital in Cusco, 2018-2023. Methods: The investigation is analytical observational study of correlational, qualitative, retrospective and cross-sectional type. The research instrument was a data collection form that was applied in the review of 97 medical records of patients diagnosed with psoriasis who met the inclusion criteria, at the Antonio Lorena Hospital in Cusco between the years 2018-2023. To carry out the analysis, the Spearman correlation test, logistic regression and classification trees were used. Results: A high direct correlation was found between the PASI score and the neutrophil/lymphocyte index at a significant level. Using the Spearman correlation test (Spearman correlation = 0.622; p=0.001). The specificity of the NLR is 79.5% with a sensitivity of 89.5% obtained considering an NLR of 2.038 (OR 33,54; p=0,000). Conclusions: There is a high direct relationship between the Neutrophil/Lymphocyte Index and the PASI psoriasis severity score with a correlation coefficient of 0.622.
