The purpose of this study was to explore the relationship between psychological well-being and nomophobia among students of the Faculty of Health Sciences of the UAC, during the first semester of 2023 in Cusco. A quantitative, descriptive-correlational approach was adopted, and the research design was non-experimental. Surveys were used to collect data, through the application of a questionnaire. The sample included 353 students, randomly selected from a total of 4,472 enrolled. The results revealed that 53.8% of the participants classified their psychological well-being as low and 30.6% considered it low normal. Regarding nomophobia, 51% reported it as low, 41.4% as moderate and 7.6% as high. The research found a significant correlation between psychological well- being and nomophobia in the sample studied, evidenced by a significance level of 0.00 and a negative correlation of -0.392. This finding emphasizes the importance of addressing the psychological well-being of students as a measure to mitigate nomophobia in the university environment, specifically during the 2023-I semester.
