The general objective of this research was to estimate a comparative evaluation of the cost, accuracy and time between the topographic survey with RPAS and the survey with Total Station in the APV José Carlos Mariátegui of the district of Oropesa, Quispicanchis, Cusco - 2023. The methodology used was of experimental approach and descriptive level using a population that corresponds to the district of Quispicanchis of the city of Cusco and a sample centered in the town center of Oropesa, the instruments used were a total station with tripod, prisms with prisms, communication radios, flying drones, GPS and processing software known as Civil 3D, ArcGis and Pix4D Enterprise. The results of the investigation focused on obtaining that the difference between the surveys with RPAS and total station was of S/. 20.10, although the difference is not much, conveniently it can be observed that the S/. 2610.00 was used in one day of work for each height of flight with the survey by RPAS, while S/. 2630. 10 in five days of work with the survey with total station, in turn the use of instruments for survey with RPAS vs. Total Station have presented a difference in the use of the different equipment and to see the shortcomings in each of the coordinates, in the North coordinates there is greater precision with the RPAS with 0.8995m according to the average absolute error compared to the Station with 2. 1472m of average absolute error, on the other hand, in the East coordinates the data obtained with RPAS are similar or tend to approach zero showing an average absolute value of 0.4512m versus the average absolute error of the Station with 0.5245m and as for the Height coordinate we can observe clear deficiencies with the use of RPAS having an average absolute error of 1.7209m and the average absolute error of the Station was obtained optimal results with a 0. 4888m; analyzing the results obtained and analyzing the graphs we can deduce that the RPAS is slightly more precise, so its values tend to be closer to zero in terms of accuracy, in turn our preference in the use of instruments for topographic surveys is with RPAS since it uses certified geodetic points and it is the best option when it comes to surveys in open areas. Finally, it was concluded that the survey with RPAS was the best option used in the development of this research since the advantages mentioned above were observed in terms of cost, time, variation and even having the presentation of an APV José Mariátegui record.
