The main purpose of this research was to determine the influence of the curing distance of two LED lamps on the surface microhardness of a bioactive restorative material, giomer. A total of 64 giomer discs were fabricated, with dimensions of 2 mm x 5 mm. These were divided into two groups based on the LED lamp used (Lamp 1: Curing Pen, Lamp 2: I-Led) and then subdivided into four groups according to the curing distance (0 mm, 1 mm, 2 mm, 3 mm), with eight samples per distance, respectively. The study groups were subsequently subjected to surface microhardness testing using a Vickers diamond tip microhardness tester. The results were processed using a two-way ANOVA test in the statistical program Jamovi 2.0. The analysis revealed higher surface microhardness values at 0 mm and 1 mm compared to 2 mm and 3 mm with the I-Led lamp. In contrast, the Curing Pen lamp showed lower microhardness values than the I-Led at all distances.
