GENERAL OIBJECTIVE: To determine the association between Level ofAnxiety and risk of Eating Disorders in preclinical students of Human Medicine of the Andina Ueiversity of Cusco, in the period May - June of the year 2022 HYPOTHESIS: Tb.ere is an association between the Level of Anxiety and the risk of Eating Disorders in preclinical stndents of Human Medicine at the Universidad Andina del Cosco, .m the period Ivfa:y - June of the year 2022- 1\IIETHOD: Type nf Resean:h: lt is a Correlational, eross-sectional study. Research de:sigo: It is observational=-analytical and non-experimental Sh1dy pop:ulatio:n: It is made up of preclinical Human Medicine students, that is, those students enrolled from the first to the fourthuniversity cycle, during the 2022-1 academic semester, Sample: 13 3 students... Sa:m¡pli:ng: intentional Data eolleetkm techni(liUce: survey lns.tru:ment: Data Collection Form, Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI) and EAT-26 Questionnaire RESLLTS: The study showed that those studeats with a rnild or modérate level of anxiety were notat risk ofpsesenting an Eating Disorder (18%), those with modérate to severe anxiety were at risk of Eating Disorder (9% and 8._3% respectively) and those with severe anxiety hada probable Eating Disorder {83%), the level of association was significant according to Kendall' s Tau-e statistic with p=O _000 (p<R 05)~ with a t =O _33 7, so there is a positive and IO\v cerrelarion. CONCLC"SION: It is concluded that there is a relationship between the level of anxiety and the risk of developing an Eating Disorder (ED) and that the higher the level of anxiety, the level of risk of ED also increases,
