This research paper entitled “PERSONAL AND CLINICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF PATIENTS WITH HIV / AIDS DIAGNOSIS ATTENDED IN THE MEDICINE SERVICE, QUILLABAMBA HOSPITAL, LA CONVENCIÓN, CUSCO 20152018“; whose objective was to describe the personal and clinical characteristics of patients diagnosed with HIV / AIDS treated in the Medicine Service, Quillabamba Hospital, La Convencion, Cusco 2015-2018. The results were: personal characteristics 26.7% are ages 35 to 45, 60% are male, and 40% female, 46.7% are self-employed, 60% live together, 80% are Santa Ana, 53.3% have high school, 73.3% start their sexual relations from 12 to 18 years, 66.7% have only one partner, 100% are heterosexual, 40% always use a condom, 86.7% never use harmful substances. The clinical characteristics 66.7% were infected sexually, 46.7% the age of diagnosis 30 to 59 years, 46.7% have a diagnosis of 7 years or more, 60% were diagnosed with ELISA and 40% with the rapid test, 60% was confirmed with IFI, 86.7% receive HAART, 73.4% are in stage A, 66.7% do not present with coinfection, 26.6% suffer from tuberculosis, 86.7% do not present another STI and only 13.3% have Neiseria Gonorrhea, 60% have a status Nutritional normal and 40% have thinness, 86.7% do not present anemia.
