“Relationship of Molecular Subtypes in Breast Cancer with Survival in Adolfo Guevara Velasco Hospital Patients ESSALUD Cusco 2006-2012” Introduction: Cancer causes millions of deaths per year and is a national priority in research 2017-2018 in Peru. Survival is a valuable medical indicator to evaluate the effectiveness and progress of breast cancer control. Methods: Descriptive, quantitative, non-experimental, retrospective cohort, longitudinal study. The clinical histories of patients with breast cancer were taken from Adolfo Guevara Velasco-ESSALUD Cusco Hospital, attended between 2006 and 2012, containing the result of biopsies submitted to an immunohistochemical study to determine the status of estrogen receptors, progesterone and HER2. The molecular subtype was classified as Luminal A (RE + and / or RP +, HER2-), Luminal B (RE + and / or RP +, HER2 +), HER2 (RE-, PR-, HER2 +), triple negative (RE-, RP- , HER2-). Results: We analyzed 213 cases and followed up from January 2006 to December 2017. The overall survival of the study was 74.1%. The highest percentage of survival is in those under 40 years with 30.3% and the lowest percentage in the range 40-60 years with 23.4% at 10 years. The highest percentage of survival is in C50.1 (central portion) with 40% tied with the inner lower quadrant (C50.3) with 40% also and the lowest percentage of survival in C50.0 (nipple) with 0% and in C50.6 (axillary prolongation) with 0% at 10 years. The highest percentage of survival is in the IN SITU Stadium with 33.3% and the lowest percentage of survival in stage IV with 0% at 10 years. Conclusions: There is a relationship between Molecular Subtypes and survival because there is a higher percentage of survival in the Luminal A and Luminal B molecular subtypes, lower survival in the HER2 / neu and Triple Negative subtypes.
