Introduction: Burnout Syndrome, also known as emotional overload syndrome or burned syndrome, is a worldwide condition, declared an occupational risk factor in 2010 by the WHO, defined as the inadequate way of dealing with chronic stress; which has repercussions on mental health, especially in those professionals who have direct and prolonged contact with users, and may affect over time, the perception of it, regarding the service received by professionals. Objective: To determine the correlation between Burnout syndrome and quality of care in a hospital in Sicuani, in the period 2022. Method: A quantitative, non-experimental, analytical, cross-sectional, correlational study was carried out. With a sample of 164 participants, including health professionals and patients who met the inclusion criteria. Frequency distribution and Spearman's Rho and Chi Square parametric tests were used, with a 95% confidence interval and a significance level of p<0.05. Results: A Rho Spearman value of -0.239 was obtained, with a significance level of 0.031, with a negative strength of association, likewise for emotional exhaustion (Rho Spearman of -0.426, Sig. <0.001). Personal fulfillment obtained a positive correlation (Rho Spearman of 0.232, Sig. 0.036). Conclusion: There is a significant negative correlation between quality of care and emotional exhaustion, as well as the final burnout score among Burnout syndrome. Personal fulfillment would be associated with better quality of care.
