The purpose of this work is to analyze the relationship between municipal environmental management and visual pollution in the urban area of the District of Santiago, Cusco 2023. The study is approached from a basic quantitative paradigm and with a correlational scope. The design is non-experimental cross-sectional. The population was 140 managers from the neighborhoods, urbanization or residential areas of the Santiago Cusco district and the sample size was 70 randomly selected, the survey technique was applied and the questionnaire was designed on an intensity scale, which were validated. by experts. The results of the study show that environmental management from the perception of 48.6% of the leaders of neighborhoods, associations, human settlements, APVS, of the district of Santiago Cusco, is regular and 31.4% maintain that the environmental management of the municipality of Santiago is bad. 22.9% of the leaders of the Santiago district affirm that visual pollution in the Santiago district is high through banners, posters, overhead cables, advertising posters, solid waste and 55.7% maintain that visual pollution is medium. . It is concluded that at 95% confidence that environmental management presents a significant relationship with visual pollution in the urban area of the Santiago Cusco district. Poor environmental management of the Santiago district generates 63.6% high levels of pollution and good management generates 35.7% low levels of visual pollution.
