The present research titled "Sowing density, production and quality of paprika seeds (Capsicum annuum L.) in La Molina" was developed through the evaluation of four planting densities, from transplant to post-harvest, during the months of december 2019 to june 2020. The densities studied to presented distances between plants of 20 cm (50 000 plants/ha), 30 cm (33 333 plants/ha), 40 cm (25 000 plants/ha) and 50 cm (20 000 plants/ha); 1 m between furrows, under gravity irrigation and dimensions per plot 3 m wide by 5 m long. The statistical design used was a DBCA with 4 treatments and 4 blocks or repetitions. The análisis of data, variance analysis and the Tukey test. The distance to 50 cm (20 000 plants/ha) excelled in parameters such as plant height (78.31 cm), setting percentage (57.87%), number of fruits per plant (22.69), number of seeds per fruit (174.16), diameter (2.62 cm), wieght (28.51 g) and germination percentage (77%). The distance to 20 cm (50 000 plants/ha) also obtained good results for days to ripening (57) and yield in the two harvests carried out (20.39 t/ha). Other parameters evaluated such as days to flowering, fruit length and weight of 100 seeds obtained non-significant results for all densities studied.
