This thesis aims to determine the level of resilience in adolescents of third and fourth year of secondary education in a state educational institution of a district south of Metropolitan Lima. The research is descriptive, with a non-experimental design, has descriptive scope and is cross-sectional. The participants were 238 third and fourth grade students of secondary education aged between 13 and 17 years, 142 men and 90 women. As an assessment tool, the Wagnild and Young Resilience scale was applied. On the other hand, contingency tables and comparison of means were used to analyze the results. The results present the levels of resilience, as proposed in the hypotheses. It was found that 98.7% of students report high resilience, with an average score of 130.07 (D.E. = 16.66). While 100% of 4th graders have high resilience, only 97.7% of 3rd graders reported high resilience and 2.3% moderate resilience.
