The objective of the research was to analyze the influence of resistant personality and spiritual health on professional positive mental health. The methodology responds to a quantitative type, explanatory level, basic type and non-experimental design. The participants were a group of 242 health workers from the first level of care, whose ages are between 22 and 70 years. To measure the study variables was necessary to use the resistant personality questionnaire created by Kobasa (1982) in the United States and adapted in Spain by Moreno-Jiménez et al. (2014) with a reliability of 0.85 and 0.86; the spiritual health questionnaire, created by Korniejczuk et al. (2019) in Mexico, with a reliability of .949, .938 and .921; and Lluch's (1999) positive mental health instrument in Spain, with a reliability of 0.80. The results affirm that the resistant personality and spiritual health manage to explain 27% and 18%, respectively, of the positive professionals mental health. It is concluded that spiritual health and resistant personality attitudes are important protective factors of positive mental health.
