The financial culture in Peru has experienced significant improvements in recent years, with the participation of merchants in the clothing sector, who every day seek to forge the economic growth of their businesses in order to generate economic stability and a better position in the commercial market. Merchants still face challenges accessing financial services and lack the knowledge necessary to make informed financial decisions. In addition, the lack of formal financial education in the educational system can be an obstacle to improve financial literacy. The general objective of this work was to determine the level of financial culture and its impact on the economic growth of the merchants of the Ivanlika gallery in the Chiclayo district in the period 2022. Likewise, it was of a qualitative approach, with a type of applied research, descriptive level, non-experimental design, considering a sample of 58 merchants, dedicated to a non probabilistic sampling and for data collection the survey was applied as a technique and as an instrument. the questionnaire sheet. In short, it was evident that there is a significant impact (p<0.902) between financial culture and economic growth in business, since those merchants with a more solid financial culture showed better financial performance in terms of income growth and profitability., compared to the rest, in fact, it is concluded that attending talks or training on financial culture helped them contribute to the development of financial skills at both an individual and organizational level.
