Virtual gambling is a problem that prevails in adolescents, negatively affecting their development and emotional stability, therefore, impacting their psychological well-being. For this reason, the general objective was to determine the degree of relationship that exists between virtual gambling and psychological well-being in secondary level students of an educational institution in Chiclayo, 2022. It was a non-experimental, correlational study, it was carried out through the Virtual Gambling questionnaire and the Riff Psychological Well-being scale validated in Peru. These instruments were applied to 232 male students between the ages of 14 and 17. It was obtained as results that in the levels of virtual gambling the one that predominates is regular and low, thus affirming a predisposition for this pathology in adolescents. Likewise, in psychological well-being, students obtained higher percentages in the medium and low level. On the other hand, the association that exists between the dimensions of psychological wellbeing and virtual gambling is inverse and significant, but only with five of the dimensions. In addition, it was possible to reach the conclusion that virtual gambling and psychological wellbeing have a low inverse association.
